The lawyer’s role is primarily one of problem solving. You have to appreciate that every client’s situation is unique—and that you don’t always need to take a combative stance to advocate effectively. I've settled a number of cases by taking a cooperative approach.

Practice Summary

Kristopher Dixon made his mark early at Williams McEnery as an articling student—becoming one of the first to be invited to present a paper at the County of Carleton Law Association’s Annual Litigation Conference.

Today as a valued member of the Williams McEnery legal team, Kristopher focuses on commercial and insurance litigation often working with senior partner, Eric Williams.  He has advocated successfully for clients involved in insurance disputes, defended schools and school boards, and handled several cases involving real estate vendors and buyers.

Open-mindedness is a hallmark of Kris’ personal style. He is deliberate about not coming to client issues with pre-defined ideas or expectations, rather listening carefully to extract the relevant specifics in every case.

Kris’ tireless determination when advocating for his clients is mirrored in his stamina as a long-distance runner with several marathons under his belt.
