Articling Program

When you article at Williams McEnery, you become a true member of our firm. We encourage students to participate in every area of our practice, taking responsibility for their files and assisting other lawyers in preparing and presenting theirs. Your work may include interviewing witnesses, attending and assisting in examinations for discovery, motions, trials and submissions to judges.

We accept one articling student per year. What do we look for? Candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn and build their advocacy and legal skills. Students who demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility to our clients and our firm.

We have designed our articling program so that by the time of completion students have acquired all the skills they need to pursue the practice of law.

For information on articling opportunities with our firm or to forward your resume and transcripts, contact Paul Muirhead: muirhead@williamsmcenery.com.
